Job Description

PRP Wine International is a pioneering company in the niche of in-home wine samplings, with over 30 years of experience delivering high-quality wines directly to clients' homes and offices. Established in 1972, this national organization is renowned for its dedication to sharing fine wines from their key suppliers Pieroth, Romanet, and Piccolomini, all while creating an educational and enjoyable experience for wine enthusiasts. Their unique approach focuses on "enjoyment without risk," ensuring competitive pricing and customer satisfaction. The company emphasizes building strong personal relationships with its clients through private and intimate wine tastings tailored to the needs and tastes of each group or individual wine drinker. Additionally, PRP has embraced technological innovation by offering virtual tastings, allowing clients to enjoy the experience from the comfort and safety of their homes. Beyond tastings, PRP Wine International is also recognized for its innovative wine gifts for businesses, featuring personalized labels and etched wine accessories. They actively participate in charity fundraisers and networking events, contributing positively to communities nationwide.

Joining PRP Wine International means becoming part of a vibrant, experienced, and fun team of Wine Consultants based in North Carolina. This is a full-time position designed for individuals passionate about wine and building meaningful client relationships. The role involves scheduling and conducting three to five in-home wine samplings per week, participating in weekly sales meetings at the office, and representing the company at wine events, which predominantly occur in evenings and on weekends. This job offers a flexible and nontraditional work schedule, ideal for those who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy interaction with diverse clientele. As a Wine Consultant, you will be responsible for engaging directly with clients, managing orders through the company’s computer system, researching local charities and events for engagement opportunities, and maintaining accurate client databases. Success in this role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to self-start, organizational abilities, and a willingness to learn and adapt through coaching.

The compensation structure is commission-based with no cap on earnings, complemented by bonuses, contests, trips, a car allowance, and an employee discount on wine purchases. Health, vision, and dental insurance, as well as a 401K program, are part of the benefits package. PRP Wine International supports its team members with lead-generating opportunities and ongoing professional sales training to ensure continual growth and success. This is an excellent career opportunity for those seeking to join a well-established and growing company in a recession-proof industry, with ample room for advancement as nearly all management positions are filled from within. If you enjoy a career that mixes passion for wine, sales expertise, and meaningful community engagement, PRP Wine International welcomes you to apply and become part of their respected wine consulting team.
