This premier luxury hotel symbolizes the perfect blend of understated elegance and the vibrant culture that defines Austin, Texas. With sweeping, breathtaking views of both Lady Bird Lake and the iconic Austin skyline, The Loren Hotel offers guests and residents an immersive experience into the very heart of the city’s most beloved green space. This hotel is a haven for those who seek more than just luxury — it is a celebration of life’s richness through exceptional service, exclusive amenities, and a seamless indoor-outdoor environment that embraces Austin’s unique spirit.
The Loren Hotel caters to an audience that appreciates fine living, art, cuisine, and the charm of well-curated experiences. As part of their commitment to excellence, they provide a fully eligible full-time benefits package including a 401(k) with up to 4% company match, medical plans with zero deductible or copay options, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, short and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment protection, hospital indemnity coverage, paid time off, paid holidays, maternity and paternity leave, and an employee assistance program. Additional perks include complimentary employee meals, bus passes, 50% off dining in the onsite restaurant Nido, and various recognition programs and incentives.
The role of Wine Concierge at The Loren Hotel’s Aperi at Paggi House is an exciting front-of-house luxury service position focused on curating memorable wine and charcuterie experiences for guests. As the primary point of contact at Aperi, the Wine Concierge warmly welcomes guests, skillfully assists them in selecting wines that match their tastes, and presents these selections with flair and generosity of spirit. This role demands a thorough knowledge of wine and food pairings, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for hospitality. The Wine Concierge handles guest purchases with accuracy and care, ensures the presentation area remains impeccable, and acts as a liaison to banquet and hotel leadership if necessary. This position does not entail supervisory duties but is crucial in maintaining the quality and reputation that The Loren Hotel offers its guests.
The ideal candidate embodies The Loren’s core values, which emphasize communication, cooperation, dependability, initiative, knowledge, judgement, planning and organization, problem-solving, quality, quantity, and a proficient use of technology. The role calls for a professional demeanor at all times, including a polished appearance and a commitment to representing the hotel’s unique culture. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, previous customer service experience within the hospitality sector, and the ability to adapt to alternating shifts. Physical demands include standing for at least 90% of the working time and maintaining consistent punctual attendance under ADA, FMLA, and all other regulatory standards. The work environment is predominantly indoor, making it an ideal setting for someone who thrives in dynamic but controlled hospitality spaces.
This position offers a fantastic opportunity for passionate individuals who love wine, enjoy engaging with guests, and wish to contribute to a luxury hospitality experience that is both unique to Austin and aligned with the highest global standards in the hotel industry. The Loren Hotel invites applicants who are free spirits with soul, who question the ordinary, and who are excited to bring their enthusiasm and expertise to an inspiring workplace where every day offers new possibilities and opportunities for growth and service.
