Job Requirements
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Possess a minimum of one year’s wine sales, restaurant and/or hospitality service experience
- Be self-motivated and highly organized requiring minimal direction
- Communicate effectively in English with all levels of employees and consumers
- Be available to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays
- Have a basic understanding of wine and winemaking
- Maintain a clean professional appearance
- Be able to travel occasionally to other company locations
- Be able to lift 40 pounds or more
- Knowledge of food and wine, the wine industry, Sonoma, Napa and Bay Area restaurants is desired
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of wine sales, restaurant, and/or hospitality service experience
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of wine and winemaking
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Clean professional appearance capable of representing Treasury Wine Estates internally and externally
- Ability to travel occasionally to other company locations
- Knowledge of food and wine, and familiarity with Sonoma, Napa, and Bay Area restaurants (desired)
Job Duties
- Drive wine club growth and member retention
- Achieve or exceed direct-to-consumer financial objectives including total revenue, wine club conversions, new guest data collection, and average order values
- Support tracking and accurate processing of wine club sign-ups and incentive rewards
- Maintain proper inventory management to minimize loss and expense
- Manage shipping activities including returns and claims for onsite wine club orders
- Represent Beaulieu Vineyard brand to promote sales transactions and build customer loyalty
- Complete transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems including shipping orders, wine club and cash transactions
- Stock, price, and display merchandise
- Build and maintain long-term guest relationships
- Assist in executing will call processes accurately
- Provide ongoing staff training on wine club key topics
- Educate guests about wines, winemaking techniques, and winery history
- Promote the wine club program and encourage sign-ups to increase sales
- Set up and host private dinners, wine tastings, and tours for guests
