Job Description

Flow Wine Group is a dynamic full-service marketing company specializing in representing wine regions, importers, wineries, and craft distillers. Renowned for its commitment to promoting quality wine and craft spirits, Flow Wine Group plays a pivotal role in connecting consumers with premium and unique beverage experiences. The company operates primarily through in-store retail promotions, tastings at partner retail stores, restaurants, and festivals, helping consumers discover and appreciate diverse wine varietals and craft spirits. Flow Wine Group emphasizes education, offering training and materials to its consultants to ensure they are well-prepared to engage customers effectively and share knowledge about the wines and spirits they represent.

Flow Wine Group is currently seeking passionate and enthusiastic individuals to join their team as Wine & Spirits Tasting Consultants. This is an occasional, part-time, and independently contracted position ideal for those who have a love for wine and craft spirits and want to earn supplemental income by sharing their enthusiasm and knowledge. The role primarily involves conducting tasting events in various retail environments and social settings during evenings and weekends. Consultants will have the opportunity to learn more about wine regions, varietals, and the nuances of craft spirits while also helping to demystify these products for consumers and facilitate sales. This role offers flexibility, allowing consultants to sign up for events based on their availability, making it perfect for individuals seeking supplemental income rather than consistent full-time or part-time work.

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess a Texas TABC certification and own their tasting supplies. A friendly and outgoing personality, a passion for wine and craft spirits, and excellent communication skills are essential. Consultants will be expected to educate consumers about the products, share interesting facts about wine regions and their impact on taste, and help create an engaging and enjoyable tasting experience. Additionally, punctuality, dependability, and a polished appearance are crucial traits for this role.

Flow Wine Group provides training and educational materials to ensure each consultant is fully equipped to perform their duties with confidence and professionalism. The pay rate ranges from $26 to $30 per hour based on experience, reflecting the value placed on expertise and the ability to connect with consumers effectively. This role requires candidates to have reliable transportation, a smartphone or tablet, and internet access to manage their event schedules and communications efficiently.

Overall, this opportunity is perfect for wine aficionados who enjoy social interaction, possess a deep interest in wine and craft spirits, and want to turn their passion into a rewarding sideline. The company offers a supportive environment where learning and growth are encouraged, along with the chance to represent respected brands in the beverage industry. If you thrive in a social setting, love to educate others, and have the necessary certification, Flow Wine Group invites you to apply and become a valued part of their team of Wine & Spirits Tasting Consultants.
