V59 Wines is the California distribution arm of Vintage '59 Imports, specializing in representing artisanal wine producers from France, Europe, the USA, and New Zealand, along with an expanding range of spirits. V59 Wines is seeking a motivated and driven sales representative to service restaurant and retail accounts in the western half of the greater Los Angeles area. This role is focused on both growing existing business relationships and developing new accounts. The ideal candidate will possess an approachable and responsive communication style, enthusiasm for artisanal wines and spirits, and a strong work ethic. The sales representative will play a vital role in contributing to the success of the sales team, holding themselves and others to high standards, demonstrating initiative, and showing resilience in the face of challenges.
This position primarily operates on a commission-based compensation model, including a base salary and generous expense reimbursements to support the representative's efforts in the field. Candidates must be able to work evenings and occasional weekends, accommodating a flexible work week to meet business needs. The role requires the candidate to have a reliable car and a clean driving record, reside within the sales territory, and maintain a home office or alternative workspace equipped with reliable cell phone and internet connectivity. Ideal candidates will have a proven history of sales success in wholesale, restaurant, specialty wine retail, or a similar environment, with established relationships within the wine and spirits community of their territory. Preferred qualifications include experience selling small-production European and West Coast USA wines and spirits at wholesale or retail levels, an existing network of contacts within the territory's on- and off-premise accounts, and potentially language skills in French or Italian. Additionally, wine certification and familiarity with the producers represented in the Vintage '59 portfolio are considered valuable assets.

Job Requirements
- 21 years or older
- reside within the sales territory in western greater Los Angeles
- reliable car and clean driving record
- capable of working flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- have a home office or alternative workspace with reliable cell phone and internet

- possess an approachable and responsive communication style
Job Qualifications
- experience in wholesale, restaurant, specialty wine retail or similar sales environment
