V59 Wines, the California distribution arm of Vintage '59 Imports, is a specialized wine and spirits distribution company that focuses on representing artisanal producers primarily from France, other parts of Europe, the USA, and New Zealand. Our selection includes a burgeoning range of carefully curated spirits, reflecting our dedication to quality and craftsmanship. Operating mainly in the eastern half of greater Los Angeles, V59 Wines is known for a dynamic, supportive work environment where passion for artisanal wines and spirits is shared among the team. We pride ourselves on building strong relationships with restaurant and retail accounts to promote and sell our unique portfolio of products. Our sales representatives are instrumental in maintaining and expanding these relationships through consistent effort and professional integrity.
We are seeking a driven sales representative to join our team who will focus on servicing restaurant and retail customers in our core territory. This role requires both prospecting for new business as well as growing existing accounts to ensure sustained company growth. The ideal candidate will possess a communicative and approachable style, demonstrating responsiveness to both customer and colleague needs. Enthusiasm for artisanal family-produced wines and spirits is essential, as is strong initiative, work ethic, and resilience. Candidates should hold themselves to high standards and actively contribute to the success of the sales team on both individual and company-wide levels.
In this role, you will be working within a flexible workweek that may include evenings and occasional weekends to meet business demands. You must be based within the sales territory and have a reliable vehicle with a clean driving record. The position offers a flexible workspace requirement with a home office or alternative workspace that has reliable cell phone and internet connectivity. This long-term professional opportunity provides a blend of base salary and commission, along with generous expense reimbursement. Benefits include full company-sponsored health insurance starting upon commencement and a SIMPLE IRA retirement savings plan with a 3% company match after 12 months. Candidates with additional skills or certifications such as wine certifications, French or Italian language skills, and experience with small production European and West Coast wines and spirits will have a competitive advantage. - 21 years or older
- reside within sales territory
- reliable car with clean driving record

- prior sales experience

Job Duties
