As a part of the Bloomin Brands family, Fleming's has earned a distinguished reputation for its high-quality food, sophisticated ambiance, and outstanding service standards. The brand is deeply rooted in a set of core principles and beliefs that guide every aspect of the operation, fostering a passionate team culture that values inclusivity, engagement, and personal growth. Employees at Fleming's are supported and celebrated in an environment where learning and advancement are encouraged through first-class training programs.
At Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, every guest's visit is intended to be a memorable celebration of food, wine, and personalized service. The company is dedicated to being an employer of choice within each community it serves, creating welcoming workplaces that respect individuality and foster a culture where positive contributions are recognized daily. As a successful Wine and Restaurant Manager, you will be instrumental in fulfilling this promise, serving as a leader who inspires a team and champions the highest standards of hospitality.
The Wine and Restaurant Manager role is pivotal in overseeing, managing, and directing the wine and beverage program to meet or exceed established quality, productivity, budgetary, and cost goals. This position spearheads the rollout of new wine and beverage initiatives while ensuring that inventory management is efficient and that the maximum quality of wines is maintained at all times. The role demands strategic leadership in managing the beverage department's profit and loss (P&L), developing innovative initiatives to build sales, increase profitability, and grow the guest count while fostering an educational environment where associates are trained extensively on wine and beverages.
Managerial responsibilities extend beyond administration to include maintaining a fully staffed, inclusive, and high-performing restaurant department. This includes fostering an environment that emphasizes development, accountability, and support among team members. The Manager also implements rigorous security protocols to protect employees and guests while actively engaging in community outreach to solidify Fleming’s brand presence and guest loyalty. Prioritizing the presentation and quality of food and drink prepared according to established recipes and standards is essential, as is enforcing safety and sanitation practices within the restaurant.
Fleming's culture embraces the philosophy that people are inherently good and seek belonging and significance. The Manager is expected to be a role model who perpetuates a passionate, fun, and balanced workplace culture. This approach supports employees in living full and balanced lives, contributing not only to their professional success but also personal well-being. Compensation for this position varies by location and includes potential bonuses based on eligibility and business performance factors. Bloomin Brands offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision coverage, and 401k savings plans, supporting employees both in and out of the workplace.
