Located in the vibrant Ross Park Mall, Wigle Cocktail Bar & Bottle Shop offers a unique experience where patrons can enjoy expertly crafted cocktails and a selection of fine spirits, ciders, and meads. We are currently seeking positive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented individuals to join our Front of House team as Front of House Associates. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a team environment and have a passion for hospitality and the spirits industry. As a Front of House Associate, you will be the face of Wigle Whiskey at the Ross Park Mall, leading customer interactions with enthusiasm and professionalism both at the bottle shop and cocktail bar. Your role is central to creating an unforgettable guest experience, from welcoming guests and making tailored product recommendations to bartending and maintaining an immaculate environment.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work alongside a talented team committed to diversity and inclusion, encouraging applicants from all backgrounds to apply. You will be expected to have or quickly obtain RAMP certification and preferably have prior experience in food and beverage service. While bartending experience is a plus, it is not a strict requirement, as training and support will be provided to enhance your skills. Your knowledge of Wigle and Threadbare products will grow as you contribute to maintaining stock levels, preparing basic food items like dips and sandwiches, and adhering to all safety and service protocols. This full-time or part-time role demands flexibility to work shifts, including after hours, weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed. Job Duties
- Lead customer interactions in both the bottle shop and cocktail bar
- build a highly satisfied and loyal customer base through engagement, finding customer needs, and making product recommendations
- maintain knowledge of the dynamic line of spirits, ciders, and meads
- bartend using Wigle and Threadbare products while maintaining safe serving protocols
- prepare basic cold foods such as dips and sandwiches
- support product replenishment to keep shelves and displays full
- maintain a clean workplace environment through regular cleaning procedures
