The company is recognized not just as a grocery store but as a catalyst for change, setting the standards of excellence in the industry while advancing sustainable and ethical practices. Whole Foods Market’s culture emphasizes personal growth, community involvement, and making a meaningful difference in the world through every aspect of its operations.

This position offers a unique opportunity to join Whole Foods Market as a Whole Body Team Leader, a pivotal role responsible for leadership and daily management of the Whole Body department. The role encompasses overseeing all operational facets including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects aligned with the store’s goals. As a leader, you will directly influence the development of Associate Team Leaders and Team Members by guiding hiring decisions, training, performance management, and fostering a positive, high-performing team environment. Success in this role requires ensuring exceptional customer service standards, maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, and promoting the company's core values and initiatives. The Team Leader will collaborate closely with store and departmental leadership to achieve sales and labor targets, manage inventory effectively, and uphold vendor relationships. This role also demands a keen understanding of market trends, competitor activity, and innovative merchandising strategies to maintain the store’s competitive edge.

Compensation for this position ranges from $27.10 to $43.07 per hour, commensurate with experience. Whole Foods Market offers a comprehensive benefits package known as Whole Benefits, providing full and part-time team members access to store discounts, paid time off, financial wellness programs, health and wellness support, as well as other perks designed to promote overall well-being. Eligibility for benefits depends on hire date, work location, length of service, and job type. This role is a fantastic fit for individuals with a passion for retail leadership, community impact, and sustainable food systems who are eager to grow within a company that values integrity, respect, and innovation. Joining Whole Foods Market means becoming part of a forward-thinking, values-driven company dedicated to making a lasting difference in the food industry and the communities it serves.
