Job Requirements
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Maintain a clean driving record
- Ability to store a company-designated passenger van at residence
- Willingness to work various shifts and assigned days
- Successful completion of pre-employment background check with MVR and drug screen
- Ability to lift 75 pounds
- Capability to push or pull 80 pounds
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of hand force
- Ability to climb steps
- Ability to kneel and reach the floor
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Experience operating passenger vehicles safely
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to assist passengers with disabilities
- Knowledge of vehicle inspection procedures
- Ability to complete incident and accident reports accurately
- Ability to work flexible shifts and days
Job Duties
- Operate a company-provided shuttle or sedan safely adhering to traffic laws
- Perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections and report mechanical issues
- Assist passengers including those with wheelchairs or mobility aids in boarding and alighting
- Secure wheelchairs and scooters during transit
- Maintain communication with dispatch and report incidents or vehicle problems promptly
- Complete accurate written reports for passenger-related matters and accidents
- Assist passengers with loading and securing luggage
