Job Requirements
- Food handlers certification required
- At least 5 years of progressive experience or a culinary graduate with at least 1 year of experience in a hotel or related field
- Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
- Able to work effectively under pressure maintaining composure while quickly evaluating situations and determining the best course of action
- A strong communicator who listens actively to understand concerns raised by coworkers and guests and effectively conveys ideas and solutions

Job Duties
- Prepare and supervise the preparation of food items ensuring high standards of quality and presentation
- Lead and assist kitchen staff ensuring efficient and high-quality food preparation and service
- Anticipate and address issues proactively to maintain smooth kitchen operations
- Convey information clearly and resolve concerns from co-workers and guests effectively
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen adhering to sanitation and safety standards
- Show initiative by anticipating needs and taking proactive steps to address them
- Manage time efficiently to ensure timely food preparation and service
