Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record in function space or event management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, and event teams
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
  • Experience with event diagram approval and space conflict resolution

Job Duties

  • Own the function space calendar and develop strategies to optimize utilization across all venues
  • Analyze demand patterns and recommend smart allocation to boost efficiency
  • Optimize peak-time usage with compression tactics and flexible configurations
  • Partner with Revenue Management to align space decisions with total hotel revenue strategy
  • Collaborate with Group Sales to assess space feasibility and shape selling strategies
  • Guide decisions about space-heavy versus room-heavy business and enforce usage parameters
  • Work with Event Services to approve complex event diagrams and resolve space conflicts
  • Report on space utilization metrics and identify trends and opportunities
  • Establish booking standards and best practices for efficient space use
  • Support capital planning and train teams on effective space selling and planning
