Job Description
Hyundai GLOVIS America Inc. is a reputable third-party logistics provider headquartered in Irvine, California, established in 2002. Specializing in automotive logistics, the company provides comprehensive supply chain solutions across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Hyundai GLOVIS is renowned for its commitment to quality service and operational excellence in transporting products via truck, rail, and ocean vessels. Its clientele spans various industries including automotive, freight forwarding, parts distribution, used car, and fuel industries. The company prides itself on employing cutting-edge information systems and advanced technology to tailor logistics strategies that cater specifically to the needs and expectations of its customers and vendors. As part of its workforce, Hyundai GLOVIS offers a dynamic and inclusive workplace culture that values dedication, precision, and safety to maintain its leadership in the logistics sector.
This role of Accessories Installer at Hyundai GLOVIS America Inc. is a vital position within the vehicle processing center (VPC) lines. The main duty is to ensure accurate and efficient distribution of vehicle accessories based on detailed vehicle specifications, reflected on the Monroney label—an essential document indicating the accessories to be installed on each vehicle. Employees in this position are tasked with verifying that vehicles have the correct Monroney labels, identifying and retrieving the correct accessories and corresponding tag brackets, and placing these accessories into vehicles in a timely and organized manner. The role demands precise attention to detail, as installers must confidently distinguish between different vehicle models and accessory requirements by visual inspection.
Besides the core responsibilities, the position involves installing floor mats in all Fleet units and ensuring accessories are placed in the correct vehicle locations. Team collaboration is emphasized through clear communication with supervisors, leads, and warehouse personnel to maintain optimal inventory levels for accessories and brackets, ensuring smooth operation flow and accuracy in packaging. The environment combines a manufacturing plant and a warehouse setting where safety and policy compliance is critical due to exposure to vehicles, heavy machinery, indoor and outdoor weather conditions, and potential chemical fumes.
Hyundai GLOVIS America Inc. strongly supports personal and professional growth, offering on-the-job training, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 100% company-paid short-term and long-term disability plans, and scheduled pay increases every 6 months for the first 36 months. Employees benefit from shift premiums on second and third shifts, paid holidays, vacation hours, sick leave, and a generous 401K match. Additional benefits include tuition reimbursement eligibility, auto allowance, wellness reimbursement, referral bonuses, annual discretionary bonuses, years of service awards, employee assistance programs, frequent appreciation events, and more. This role is a full-time opportunity ideal for individuals who can work overtime, weekends, or holidays, and who thrive within a flexible, team-oriented environment focused on quality and safety.
