The role of the Busser at Flanigan's is pivotal in supporting daily restaurant operations. Bussers act as the essential stagehands of the dining experience by continuously cleaning and setting up the various dining areas to ensure they are guest-ready at all times. Their responsibility encompasses clearing tables efficiently, resetting them promptly for new guests, and assisting servers and bartenders with a myriad of tasks to facilitate seamless service. This role requires a proactive attitude towards cleanliness and organization as Bussers are also entrusted with maintaining the tidiness of restrooms, patio areas, waiting areas, and parking lots.

As a Busser, you will be expected to follow all company safety and sanitation policies meticulously as outlined in procedural trainings. The job demands physical stamina as the position entails frequent reaching, bending, stooping, and lifting loads up to 50 pounds, including moving items to high shelves, coolers, and freezers. Working conditions include damp and high-temperature environments, predominantly indoors but occasionally outdoors. This essential role also requires compliance with state regulations by completing and passing the Florida Responsible Vendor program and food safety certification. Fluency in English is necessary to communicate effectively and adhere to safety protocols.

Flanigan's offers its Bussers a full-time work schedule of five days per week, with the opportunity to earn paid vacation time—starting with one week after the first year, increasing with tenure.
