This Shift Supervisor position at Wendy's plays a vital role in maintaining the excellence of the Wendy's customer experience. As part of this role, you will act as a key leader on shift, supporting both the Assistant Manager and General Manager to ensure smooth daily operations. You will be responsible for setting the tone in the restaurant that reflects Wendy's core values — delivering safe, friendly, and efficient service while upholding the quality standards the brand is celebrated for. In this capacity, the Shift Supervisor ensures that Crew Members complete their assigned duties, all food safety and sanitation procedures are strictly followed, and the restaurant environment remains safe for employees and guests.

Your daily duties will extend beyond supervision to hands-on involvement, including managing cash registers and drive-thru stations, scheduling staff, ordering inventory, and assisting with training and development efforts. The role requires excellent multi-tasking abilities and a leadership presence that motivates the team to deliver outstanding food and service consistently. Job Qualifications

  • At least 18 years old
  • obtain a food handler's certificate according to state or local requirements
  • legally authorized to work in the United States
  • reliable transportation
  • maintain a professional appearance and good hygiene standards
  • ability to work flexible hours, arrive on time, and be dependable
  • minimum of one year in a supervisory role

Job Duties

  • Drive excellent customer service and maintain company standards
  • oversee a team of associates in a fast-paced environment while ensuring that all proper food safety precautions are satisfied
  • draw up weekly schedules, order merchandise, and assist the General Manager with training, recruiting, promotions and planning
  • perform duties of a dining room cashier, drive-thru cashier, and drive-thru outside order taker
  • ensure food safety, quality, and sanitation including receiving shipments and maintaining proper storage of ingredients and supplies
  • train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures
  • ensure the facility and equipment are maintained to Wendy's standards
  • follow proper opening and closing procedures
  • maintain guest and employee safety
