This position is for a General Manager role at Wendy's, operated under the franchise ownership of Cotti Foods Group. The General Manager is pivotal to the restaurant's success, serving as the leader who shapes the work environment and sets the standard for customer hospitality. This full-time role demands a dynamic individual who can oversee daily restaurant operations while building and nurturing a strong, efficient team focused on delivering consistently great food and a welcoming experience to customers. The General Manager's responsibilities are comprehensive and include recruiting, hiring, and developing staff members, conducting new-hire orientation sessions, and creating tailored training plans to ensure every team member meets company standards.

In this leadership role, the General Manager is also responsible for managing the restaurant budget, analyzing financial performance metrics such as sales, labor, and inventory, and taking corrective actions to maintain profitability and promote growth. The role requires excellent communication skills for engaging with both field leadership and restaurant staff, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with corporate goals. Job Qualifications

  • 18 years or older
  • obtain a food handler’s certificate according to state or local requirements
  • legally authorized to work in the United States
  • must have reliable transportation
  • maintain a professional appearance and good hygiene standards
  • ability to work flexible hours, arrive at work on time and be dependable
  • 2 years quick service and fast-food restaurant experience
  • 2 years food management experience (preferred)
  • 2 years drive-thru experience (preferred)

Job Duties

  • Drive excellent customer service and maintain company standards
  • ensure crew members and shift supervisors complete all assigned duties and serve safe, quality food in a friendly manner
  • analyze sales, labor, inventory, and controllables on a continual basis and take corrective action to meet or achieve margin and sales growth targets
  • oversee a team of associates in a fast-paced environment while ensuring that all proper food safety precautions are satisfied
  • manage the restaurant budget and financial plans
  • engage in clear, consistent communications with field leadership and restaurant staff on a frequent basis
  • build an effective team through training and development
  • supply meaningful and timely performance feedback
  • ensure food safety, quality, and sanitation including receiving shipments and maintaining proper storage of ingredients and supplies
