Job Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age and/or junior in high school
Customer service or public relations experience preferred
Ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills
Enthusiasm and excellent customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to healthy living
Completion of CPR/First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogen and Child Abuse Prevention training within first 30 days of employment

Job Qualifications

Must be at least 16 years of age and/or junior in high school
At least one year or more customer service/public relations experience preferred
A passion and basic understanding of healthy living and helping others reach goals
Actively participating in a healthy lifestyle
Must be detail-oriented, possess strong organizational skills and have ability to multi-task
Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment
Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills
Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality
Excellent communication, listening and computer skills
CPR/First Aid, Blood Bourne Pathogen and Child Abuse Prevention training within first 30-days of employment

Job Duties

Enforcing YMCA and Wellness Department rules and policies
Maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked and well organized work area
Give facility tours and orientations to new or prospective members as needed
Actively promote the Y, memberships, programs, services, and lessons, as well as promotions and/or discounts available
Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by members/guests
Provide detailed descriptions of Y memberships, programs, services, facility features and hours of operation
Properly open, perform daily tasks and close wellness area each day according to Standard Operating Procedures
