The Village Health Clubs and Spas stand out in the fitness and wellness industry not only due to their exceptional amenities but through a uniquely social culture that promotes a positive, supportive atmosphere for everyone involved. At each location, the team of friendly, enthusiastic staff collaborates to create a welcoming and comfortable environment that feels like a second home for members and guests alike. The core ethos is captured in their culture statement: "As one we have fun and get it done!" highlighting their collective spirit and dedication.

The role of Welcome Desk Attendant at The Village Health Clubs and Spas embodies this spirit and serves as a pivotal position focused on elevating guest experiences. The role requires multitasking capabilities, the ability to manage court reservations for tennis, squash, and racquetball, and handling guest complaints in a timely and effective manner.

Candidates for this role must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED and demonstrate basic computer literacy combined with strong data entry skills. The position requires obtaining CPR certification shortly after hire, indicating a commitment to safety and readiness to respond to emergencies. Physical demands include standing for extended periods, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally, and performing repetitive motions with wrists and hands. The role also requires excellent verbal communication skills to convey detailed information clearly and accurately, meet member needs, and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment. Preferred but not mandatory qualifications include prior experience in high-end health clubs, hospitality, or related fields, familiarity with court reservation systems, cash handling experience, and bilingual abilities.

The Welcome Desk Attendant position offers an opportunity to join a vibrant team dedicated to promoting health and wellness while delivering superb member service.
