The Welcome Coordinator at Oak Street Health plays a vital role as the welcoming face and operational hub of the clinic. This full-time position is integral to creating a positive first and last impression of the healthcare center for patients and visitors. The Welcome Coordinator is crucial in ensuring seamless patient experiences by handling administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing phone communications, processing co-pays, and maintaining accurate patient records in the electronic medical system. The role requires a blend of friendliness, adaptability, and organizational skills to meet the diverse needs of patients and support the clinic's efficiency. They maintain the cleanliness and order of the patient welcoming areas and may sometimes assist at other regional centers. Reporting to the Practice Manager and working within the Service Team, the Welcome Coordinator is focused on delivering high-touch assistance and consistent excellent service. Job Requirements

- Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other community languages where necessary
- Ability to work full time, 40 hours per week

Job Qualifications
- Strong computer skills including basic knowledge of Google Suite
- Professional phone etiquette
- Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by the community where necessary
- Experience in a customer service setting strongly preferred
- Some college education preferred
Job Duties
- Welcoming patients and guests
- Conducting visit check-in and assisting patients with required forms
- Collecting co-pays
- Updating patient information and making changes in electronic medical record platform
- Scheduling or rescheduling appointments within electronic medical records platform
- Managing phone lines by answering, taking messages, and conducting outbound calls as instructed
- Managing faxes in the electronic fax platform
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the Welcome and Community Room areas
- May be required to float to other centers in the region on an infrequent basis
- Other duties as assigned
