Job Requirements

  • at least sixteen years of age
  • ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at an eighth grade level
  • positive and energetic attitude
  • physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
  • ability to frequently lift and move 50 pounds
  • ability to assist residents with mobility
  • criminal background clearance

Job Qualifications

  • at least sixteen years of age
  • able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at an eighth grade proficiency level
  • positive and energetic attitude towards residents
  • physically able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the shift
  • able to frequently lift and move items up to 50 pounds
  • able to assist residents physically when necessary
  • criminal background clearance

Job Duties

  • greet residents and make them feel welcome
  • be present in the dining room to mingle and entertain
  • prepare tables and meals for service
  • bus tables and maintain cleanliness
  • communicate any dietary concerns to supervisors and wellness staff
  • assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
  • report any unusual changes in appetite or meal attendance
