The Food Runners/Waiter Assistants position at CCB is a vital role that supports the overall dining experience by assisting the wait staff and kitchen team. This role is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of food orders to the dining areas, verifying order correctness and presentation before serving. The position also involves maintaining the cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas, restocking table items, and delivering attentive and courteous service to members and guests. Food Runners assist in clearing tables and help support a seamless dining flow, contributing directly to the club's reputation for high-quality service.
This is a part-time role with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour, scheduled primarily on Friday and Saturday evenings as well as Sunday mornings from 10AM to 2PM. Candidates who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a strong work ethic are ideal for this position. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to teamwork are essential, as the role demands close coordination with kitchen staff, servers, and management. - prior experience in restaurant or hospitality environment preferred

Job Duties
- Promptly and accurately deliver food from kitchen to dining areas
- verify plate presentation, order accuracy, and temperature before delivery
- communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff regarding orders and special requests
- assist with clearing plates, resetting tables, and maintaining smooth service flow
- help maintain cleanliness and organization of dining rooms, service stations, and back of house areas
- refill water, bread, butter, and other table items as needed
- assist servers with guests needs to ensure seamless and attentive dining experience
- follow all club service standards, etiquette, and procedures
- interact with members and guests in a courteous, professional, and discreet manner
- respond promptly to member requests
- adhere to all food safety, sanitation and health regulations
- assist with opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
- support special events, banquets, and private functions as needed
