Job Description
Coventry Meadows Assisted Living is a reputable assisted living community that is part of American Senior Communities, a leading provider of senior care across Indiana. Established with a strong foundation of compassion and excellence, Coventry Meadows offers a warm and supportive environment focused on enriching the lives of seniors. The community prides itself on fostering a culture rooted in Hoosier hospitality and the C.A.R.E. values—Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence—that guide every interaction with residents, families, and team members. The organization has a proud history of delivering high-quality care since 2000 and continues to set high standards for senior living services through dedicated staff and exemplary leadership.
The role of Part-Time Guest Relations Specialist/Receptionist at Coventry Meadows Assisted Living is a vital position that embodies the welcoming spirit of the community. This part-time opportunity involves working every other weekend, making it suitable for individuals seeking flexibility while engaging in meaningful work. As the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and staff, the receptionist plays a critical role in creating a warm and professional atmosphere that promotes comfort and trust. The position requires interacting with diverse individuals, including seniors and their families, supporting administrative functions, and contributing to the smooth operation of the front desk.
Key responsibilities include managing multi-line phone systems, handling mail, maintaining records, and supporting data entry and filing tasks. Beyond administrative duties, the receptionist must exhibit excellent customer service skills characterized by patience, empathy, and active listening to effectively address inquiries and concerns. This role also supports the emotional well-being of residents by fostering a comforting environment that enhances their overall experience. Additionally, the receptionist works collaboratively with other team members to uphold the community’s commitment to outstanding senior care.
This job offers more than just a workplace; it provides a chance to contribute to a caring, mission-driven community focused on enhancing the quality of life for older adults. Employee benefits include competitive compensation with options for accessing earnings before payday, a comprehensive wellness program featuring affordable medical coverage, vision and dental insurance, and mental health support through employee assistance programs. The company encourages career growth through educational partnerships, mentorship programs, and tuition reimbursement, along with opportunities to engage in recognition events and team-building activities. Coventry Meadows Assisted Living is an ideal setting for compassionate individuals passionate about geriatric advocacy and patient-centered service to make a positive impact while growing professionally.
