Job Description

Eastcastle Place is a distinguished senior living and health services facility dedicated to providing compassionate and high-quality care to its residents. Located in a convenient Eastcastle Place setting, this company has built a reputation for fostering a nurturing environment that blends comprehensive health services with a vibrant community atmosphere. The organization places strong emphasis on integrity, dignity, and respect in all interactions, ensuring that both residents and staff experience a supportive and enriching environment. Eastcastle Place is committed to inclusivity, equality, and supporting the diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences that each employee brings. This dedication not only cultivates a positive working environment but also enriches the lives of the residents it serves.

As a part-time, non-exempt Weekend Receptionist role at Eastcastle Place, employees will work every other weekend on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., earning $18.00 per hour. The Weekend Receptionist position is ideal for someone who values teamwork and wants to contribute to a community where every interaction positively impacts the lives of senior residents. The role is integral to the Resident Services department, focusing on delivering exceptional front-of-house support to residents, visitors, staff, and vendors. This professional will serve as the first point of contact, managing all incoming calls with courtesy and efficiency, welcoming individuals warmly, and ensuring the smooth operation of front desk administrative duties. They act as a vital communication link within the community, promptly relaying messages and maintaining secure access by monitoring visitor sign-ins.

The role requires a blend of excellent phone etiquette, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, compassionate environment. The Weekend Receptionist must be skilled at handling the varied responsibilities that come with working in senior living, such as recording payments, managing reservations and cancellations, and staying informed about community events to better assist residents and guests. The position commands a positive attitude and a willingness to learn continuously, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission of improving residents' lives through proactive, attentive service.

Employees at Eastcastle Place benefit from a comprehensive package that includes a 401(k) plan with matching contributions after one year, tuition reimbursement, holiday bonuses, and access to health and wellness programs. Further advantages include free onsite parking, convenient access to public transportation lines near the facility, discounted meal programs, and use of a free onsite fitness center and pool. The company also supports employee development through its Employee Rewards and Recognition program, fostering a motivating and fulfilling workplace.

This role is not just a job; it’s an opportunity to join a team devoted to the happiness and well-being of others, making a tangible impact in the senior living sector. The Weekend Receptionist helps set the tone for a respectful, warm, and professional environment, ensuring every resident and visitor experience at Eastcastle Place is positive and welcoming. Candidates are required to be at least 18 years old and must pass background and drug screenings in compliance with caregiving regulations. Flu shots are mandatory within 30 days of employment start during flu season to maintain a healthy community.
