Job Description

Kenco Logistics is a leading third-party logistics (3PL) provider in the United States, recognized for its commitment to innovation, integrity, and employee development. As a dynamic company that values safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement, Kenco offers a supportive work environment where employees are encouraged to grow and make a meaningful impact in the supply chain industry. Founded on a vision to move the world forward one shipment at a time, Kenco has built a reputation for operational excellence and collaboration across its network of warehouses, distribution centers, and offices. The company emphasizes a culture where every team member's contributions are valued and where professional development is a priority, making it an ideal workplace for individuals seeking long-term career growth in logistics and supply chain management.

The Housekeeping/Sanitation position at Kenco Logistics plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse, distribution center, and office spaces. This role ensures that all work environments are hygienic, orderly, and compliant with safety standards. The responsibilities include heavy cleaning duties such as vacuuming and mopping floors, operating floor sweepers when required, and maintaining clean break rooms, restrooms, and lounges. The role also involves managing supplies, emptying trash receptacles, keeping walkways and parking lots free of debris, and reporting any safety violations to management. The Housekeeping/Sanitation team is essential for creating a safe, pleasant, and productive workspace for all employees and visitors.

This is a full-time position that does not require travel, making it ideal for candidates looking for stability within a well-established logistics company. Candidates are expected to have a minimum of six months of relevant experience, a high school diploma or GED preferred, and the ability to pass background and drug screenings. Attention to detail and the ability to split time effectively between office, break room, and warehouse areas are critical for success in this role. Certification on powered industrial trucks (PIT) is also required, enabling the employee to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.

Kenco Logistics also fosters key competencies such as action orientation, collaboration, decision quality, optimization of work processes, and situational adaptability to ensure that employees are empowered to perform their duties efficiently while constantly improving their work areas. The company provides numerous benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, supplemental insurance options, paid parental leave, a 401(k) plan, paid time off starting from day one, employer-paid holidays, and more. These benefits highlight Kenco's dedication to supporting its workforce both professionally and personally.

By joining Kenco Logistics as a Housekeeping/Sanitation team member, you become part of a company that not only values your efforts but also invests in your growth and well-being within the logistics sector. Your role helps uphold the high standards that keep Kenco at the forefront of the 3PL industry, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency throughout its facilities.
