The role of Part Time Weekend Housekeeper at The Legacy at Oak Hill offers a vital contribution to the upkeep and cleanliness of the living environment enjoyed by every resident. This position is scheduled for three days per week—Saturday, Sunday, and Monday—from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, providing a consistent weekend presence aimed at maintaining high cleanliness standards. The part-time housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning both private apartments—specifically preparing vacant units to welcome new residents—and shared common areas, including clubhouses, fitness centers, and administrative offices. This role demands a keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring that all surfaces, fixtures, and appliances are spotless, functional, and in excellent condition. Duties such as floors, bathroom, kitchen, and window cleaning, as well as laundry facilities maintenance and trash removal, are integral to creating a hygienic and pleasant atmosphere throughout the community. Additionally, the housekeeper will serve as a vigilant observer, reporting any maintenance problems or safety concerns to the management and maintenance team to address promptly. By collaborating closely with colleagues, the individual in this position supports the Legacy at Oak Hill's mission of providing a safe, clean, and enjoyable living space for its senior residents, while adhering strictly to all cleaning protocols and safety guidelines.   • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Job Duties

  • Perform full cleaning of vacant apartments to prepare them for new residents
  • Ensure all appliances are clean, functional, and in good condition
  • Complete detailed cleaning tasks including floors, surfaces, bathrooms, kitchens, and fixtures
  • Assist with daily upkeep of grounds, including trash pickup and maintaining a clean exterior environment
  • Clean and maintain laundry facilities, ensuring machines and surrounding areas remain tidy and safe
  • Maintain cleanliness of clubhouse, office, and fitness center, including floors, windows, restrooms, and high-touch surfaces
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns observed during cleaning
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance and management team to ensure units and common areas meet company standards
  • Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
