Job Description
Our esteemed hotel is dedicated to providing an exceptional guest experience through personalized service and a welcoming atmosphere. As a recognized establishment within the hospitality sector, we pride ourselves on maintaining high standards of comfort and convenience for all our guests. Our hotel offers a unique concierge lounge that serves as a hub for guest interaction, assisting with amenities and local insights to enhance their stay.
We are currently seeking a diligent and personable Concierge Lounge Attendant to join our team on a full-time basis. The role is instrumental in ensuring our guests receive a warm welcome and sustained assistance during their time in the lounge. Responsibilities include greeting guests promptly within two minutes of arrival, acting as a communication link between guests and various hotel departments, and facilitating reservations while following up on special guest requests to ensure satisfaction.
In addition to guest interaction, the Concierge Lounge Attendant is responsible for maintaining the lounge’s cleanliness and orderliness. This includes regular tidying up by clearing dirty dishes and glasses and maintaining the kitchenette, along with cleaning floors, furniture, and surfaces throughout the shift. The role demands a candidate who is attentive to detail and passionate about creating a pristine and inviting environment that reflects the hotel’s standards of excellence.
This position requires strong verbal and written communication skills, a high work ethic, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have proven customer service experience marked by resourcefulness and creativity, with the ability to foster excellent relationships with both staff and guests while upholding confidentiality at all times. The job demands focus and the ability to manage tasks efficiently, even when faced with frequent interruptions.
Physical requirements of the role include the capacity to stand and walk for prolonged periods, as well as the ability to handle occasional physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and lifting items weighing between 10 to 25 pounds. The role is performed in a standard office environment and involves prolonged periods of desk work, including typing and using office equipment. Candidates should have the visual acuity to engage with both computer screens and printed materials effectively, along with the auditory ability to participate actively in discussions and phone communications.

Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- ability to work in a standard office environment
- prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer (6-8 hours a day)
- occasional standing and walking throughout the workday
- frequent fine motor skills use of hands and fingers for keyboarding/typing utilizing a mouse or trackpad writing and operating office equipment
- ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, reach or carry items
- ability to lift and/or move 10-25 pounds as needed (eg, files, office supplies)
- visual ability to read from a computer screen and printed materials including close visual focus for extended periods and color differentiation (for certain roles)

Job Duties
- Warmly greet and welcome guests in the concierge lounge within 2 minutes of guest arrival
- act as a liaison between guests and hotel departments by making reservations and following up on special requests
- maintain an information file on hotel and local services and attractions and recommend them to the guest, suggestively selling hotel amenities and services
- clean Concierge lounge throughout the shift by picking up dirty dishes and glasses and maintaining the kitchenette, including cleaning of floors, furniture and surfaces
