Job Description
Uber Technologies, Inc. is a global leader in the ridesharing and delivery industry, dedicated to reshaping urban mobility. Since its inception in 2010, Uber has revolutionized how people move, making it possible to access rides and delivery services conveniently through a mobile app. Uber operates in over 15,000 cities worldwide, providing flexible earning opportunities for drivers and delivery partners. Employing a platform model, Uber connects riders and customers with drivers and delivery personnel, offering a seamless, tech-enabled experience. As a global technology company, Uber’s mission is to reimagine the way the world moves for the better, facilitating millions of trips every day and enabling their workforce of independent contractors to earn income on their own schedules.
This particular opportunity highlights flexible weekend jobs in Tulsa, Oklahoma—perfect for individuals seeking part-time or weekend-only work. Whether you're interested in ridesharing as a driver or delivering food as a delivery partner, Uber provides unmatched flexibility that allows you to earn on your terms. You have the choice to work weekends only, whether Saturdays or Sundays, or supplement your income by working weekdays when time permits. The Tulsa market offers diverse opportunities ranging from transporting riders to Tulsa International Airport, facilitating rides to local destinations such as Southern Hills Country Club, or delivering meals from popular restaurants including Panda Express and Taco Bell.
The role affords you the freedom to choose your schedule, creating a work-life balance that fits your lifestyle. The application and onboarding process is straightforward: sign up online, get cleared through background and vehicle eligibility checks, and activate your account to start earning. Uber drivers and delivery partners are independent contractors, which means you control the amount and timing of your work. This makes Uber an ideal option for students, part-time workers, retirees, or anyone looking for supplemental income without the constraints of traditional employment.
As a driver, you need to meet certain requirements such as being of minimum driving age, possessing a valid US driver's license, and owning an eligible 4-door vehicle. For delivery opportunities, you can choose to deliver by car, scooter, bike, or even on foot with different eligibility criteria for each mode. An online screening including submission of your Social Security number is conducted to ensure safety and compliance.
By joining Uber in Tulsa, you become part of a dynamic, innovative platform that is transforming urban transportation and delivery through technology. The role not only enables earning but also offers a meaningful way to help people and improve city mobility. Uber’s commitment to safety, technology, and community impact underpins this role, ensuring that every driver and delivery partner can feel supported in their work while earning income flexibly. This opportunity is more than just a job; it’s a chance to be part of a global movement redefining how the world moves.
