Job Requirements
- meet minimum age to drive in your city
- use an eligible 4-door vehicle for driving
- have a valid US driver’s license
- have at least one year of licensed driving experience (three years if under 25 years old)
- be at least 19 years old to deliver by car or scooter
- have a motorized scooter under 50cc if delivering by scooter
- be at least 18 years old to deliver by bike or foot
- have a government-issued ID for bike or foot delivery
- submit your Social Security number for background screening
- have reliable smartphone access to the Uber app
Job Qualifications
- valid US driver’s license
- meet minimum age requirements to drive in Brownsville
- use an eligible 2-door or 4-door vehicle for driving or delivery by car
- have a motorized scooter under 50cc for scooter deliveries
- have a government-issued ID for bicycle or foot deliveries
- at least one year of licensed driving experience (three years if under 25 years old) for drivers
- ability to pass online background screening
- ability to complete onboarding steps including sign up and account activation
- reliable smartphone to operate the Uber driver or delivery app
Job Duties
- provide rides to passengers in the Brownsville area and nearby locations such as San Antonio International Airport and Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport
- pick up and deliver food orders from restaurants like McDonald's and Panda Express
- manage your own flexible schedule and choose when to work on weekends or weekdays
- maintain a valid US driver's license and meet vehicle eligibility standards
- complete the sign-up, background screening, and account activation process to start driving or delivering
- ensure timely, safe, and courteous transportation or delivery service to customers
- use the Uber app to receive ride or delivery requests and navigate efficiently
