Job Description

Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a fast-growing, family-owned company dedicated to serving seniors across more than 60 resort-style communities nationwide. At RLC, the mission goes beyond providing a place to live; it's about creating vibrant, respectful, and compassionate environments where residents feel valued and cared for. Rooted in core values of respect, honesty, kindness and compassion, and service excellence, RLC fosters a strong sense of community among its employees and residents alike. The company emphasizes the importance of a supportive workplace culture that encourages servant-hearted service, ensuring every team member can contribute positively to the lives of senior residents.

The Relief Kitchen Helper role at RLC is an essential position that contributes significantly to the dining experience and overall well-being of the community's residents. This role is built around the philosophy that food service is an extension of care and happiness. The Relief Kitchen Helper is responsible for preparing and maintaining a fresh and visually appealing salad bar, a vital part of starting meals on a positive note. Within the dining room, the Relief Kitchen Helper provides friendly and attentive service to residents, maintains cleanliness by bussing tables, and ensures tables are properly set before meals. This role also plays a crucial role in community safety by thoroughly washing and sanitizing tableware, cookware, and kitchen equipment.

This position requires working on a rotating schedule including Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00 am to 2:30 pm and Sundays and Mondays from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm. No previous culinary experience is necessary, making it an accessible opportunity for those who are eager to contribute to a compassionate and service-driven team. New hires must be able to obtain local food handler permits within the first two weeks of employment, demonstrating RLC's commitment to hygiene and safety standards.

RLC offers more than just a job; it offers a place to grow within a family-oriented company that values its employees and residents equally. In addition to competitive pay ranging between $16.50 and $17.00 per hour, full-time employees enjoy a generous benefits package including paid time off, 401(k) employer match, and a $341 benefit stipend that can be applied toward various insurance and health-related plans. The culture at RLC supports individuals who are passionate about making a difference, providing leadership and a work environment that motivates and inspires. If you are someone who values respect, kindness, and service excellence and you want a role where your work truly matters every day, the Relief Kitchen Helper position at RLC is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit and purpose-driven team.
