Weekend Delivery Driver Boxed Truck

Our company specializes in the distribution of fresh bakery goods to Dunkin' Donuts stores throughout the Boston area. Based in the South Bay region of Boston near the Boston Medical Center and the Southeast Expressway, our production facility ensures that high-quality products reach our clients promptly and in excellent condition. This role is integral to maintaining the smooth operation and fulfillment of our retail partners' demands, ensuring customers receive the freshest products at their local Dunkin' outlets.

We are currently seeking a part-time Weekend Delivery Driver to join our team and handle weekend deliveries using our Boxed Truck. This position demands an average of 16 to 21 working hours, primarily on Saturdays and Sundays. The driver will be responsible for picking up bakery goods from our CML production facility and delivering them to various Dunkin' Donuts stores located in and around Boston. Scheduled shift hours are from 1:00 am to 9:00 am, allowing for efficient early morning deliveries that keep stores stocked for their morning customers.

This role requires not only a valid driver's license and a good driving record but also compliance with DOT regulations, reflecting the importance of safety and professionalism on the road. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a polite and professional demeanor and possess excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with store personnel and team members. Responsibilities extend beyond driving and include the physical loading and unloading of bakery products, which involves lifting, pushing, and pulling items on and off the delivery vehicle. Maintaining cleanliness and ensuring the vehicle is in optimal working order is also essential, with duties that include washing and routine upkeep of the truck.

Working in Roxbury, MA, is required, with the expectation that candidates can commute to the production facility and are willing to relocate to Roxbury before starting employment.
