Job Description
Cascade Living is a premier senior living company dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for its residents and employees through a culture of wellness and purposeful living. Known for its commitment to compassionate care, Cascade Living operates a range of memory care and senior living communities across various regions including Salem, Albany, Independence, Monmouth, and Grand Ronde. The company’s mission is embodied in its motto: 'The Difference Between Living and Living Well.' This philosophy reflects a deep commitment not only to the physical health of its residents but also to their emotional well-being and social engagement, ensuring a supportive and vibrant environment for seniors and their families.
Jefferson Lodge, one of Cascade Living’s memory care communities, emphasizes specialized care for residents with memory impairment, fostering a respectful, dignified, and warm living space. At Jefferson Lodge, employees find a team-oriented culture focused on empathy, professionalism, and meaningful connections. The organization understands that excellent care arises from trusted relationships and a holistic approach to community living.
The Weekend Concierge role at Jefferson Lodge plays a pivotal part in this mission. As the first point of contact, the Concierge sets the tone for the entire community experience, welcoming residents, families, and visitors with warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness. This position is more than simply a front desk role; it requires building relationships and supporting multiple departments to sustain smooth operations and uphold the community’s welcoming atmosphere.
This part-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $15.05 to $17.05, depending on experience, and operates primarily on weekend day shifts from 9am to 5pm. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with seniors, possesses strong communication skills, and demonstrates reliability and a positive, can-do attitude. The Weekend Concierge must be capable of managing competing priorities in an environment with frequent interruptions, always representing the values and mission of Cascade Living with compassion and professionalism.
Key responsibilities include greeting guests, supporting the sales team with tour preparations, handling incoming calls and messages, organizational tasks related to resident communications, and maintaining an inviting front desk environment. The role also demands active collaboration with residents, family members, and staff to foster a connected and supportive community.
Cascade Living takes pride in offering a variety of benefits to support the well-being and growth of its employees, including health insurance for those eligible, voluntary disability and life insurance plans, pet insurance, 401K with company matching, paid time off, and educational assistance. The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with accommodations available during the application process for individuals with disabilities. This comprehensive support underscores Cascade Living’s dedication to employee well-being alongside resident care, making it an excellent workplace for individuals committed to creating meaningful impacts in senior living.
