Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in customer service or security preferred
  • ability to respond to emergency situations
  • proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • strong communication skills
  • physical ability to perform job duties including lifting 30 to 50 pounds
  • ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and overtime
  • valid authorization to work in the country
  • willingness to walk and monitor building premises
  • ability to complete required documentation accurately

Job Qualifications

  • demonstrates excellent customer service, communication and time management skills
  • basic knowledge of Microsoft applications especially Outlook, Word and Excel
  • command of information system hardware/software preferred
  • good written and verbal communication skills
  • strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities
  • ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building
  • ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms
  • able to work extended/flexible hours and weekends
  • ability to lift 30 to 50 pounds
  • able to stand, sit, walk and occasionally climb as required
  • able to handle, finger, grasp and lift objects and packages
  • capable of working at a personal computer and on the phone for extended periods

Job Duties

  • provides exceptional customer service
  • meets and greets residents
  • checks guests and service providers in/out
  • understands and reacts to emergency response and access control procedures
  • monitors and operates electronic security control systems
  • maintains accurate daily logs, records and forms
  • assists with general concierge services and administrative clerical work including Word and Excel
  • walks building premises for monitoring purposes
  • monitors and controls access to the building
  • resolves and follows up on complaints/issues escalating to supervisor if necessary
  • helps maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property
  • completes all required forms accurately
  • performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
