The Weekend Breakfast Server role at Hampton Inn & Suites Toledo/Perrysburg, part of the MCR Hotels family, is an essential position responsible for providing guests with a warm and welcoming breakfast experience during the hotel's complimentary breakfast service. This role requires attentiveness, courteousness, and efficiency to ensure that guests start their day positively. The Breakfast Server is tasked with preparing a variety of breakfast items, maintaining stocked and organized service areas, and communicating guest needs and special requests to relevant departments. This position plays a crucial role in upholding the high standards that MCR Hotels is known for by ensuring cleanliness, presentation, and timely restocking of food and beverage items.

This is a weekend position primarily, requiring flexibility to work early mornings and holiday shifts. Job Requirements

  • Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Primary availability on weekends, must be able to work a varied schedule that includes early mornings and holidays
  • Must have basic English verbal communication skills
  • Must have the ability to obtain food handlers certification as required
  • Physical ability to perform job function with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
  • Be proficient in general computer knowledge
  • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
  • Must have a desire to serve all guests
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to perform this job

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service oriented manner
  • Ensuring that bar, food, and service areas are stocked, organized, clean and neat and all side work is complete during each shift
  • Prepare breakfast items and restock as needed during service hours
  • Communicate with all departments regarding in-house VIPs and any special requests/needs
  • Support all areas of the beverage and food service as necessary
  • Share knowledge of the hotel, its amenities and menu options
  • Perform other duties as assigned
