We are currently seeking an experienced and friendly Weekend Breakfast Server to join our team. In this key role, you will be the face of our restaurant during weekend breakfast hours, delivering exceptional service that leaves a lasting positive impression on our guests. The ideal candidate is quick on their feet, possesses a positive and upbeat attitude, and genuinely enjoys interacting with people. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests warmly, taking accurate food and beverage orders, and ensuring that meals are served promptly and correctly. Job Duties
- Acknowledge and welcome each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly greeting
- take food and beverage orders and deliver to the kitchen
- deliver food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items
- answer questions regarding the menu
- maintain knowledge of all menu items and composition
- ensure that food is prepared correctly and to the guest’s satisfaction
- return incorrect or improperly cooked items to the kitchen
- collect plates and clear table as guests finish their meal
- adhere to all applicable Colwen and brand standards for food and beverage service and compliance with state liquor policies
- clean designated areas in accordance with defined procedures
- ensure sideboards are adequately stocked
- set tables to standards, and ensure that all items are clean and in good repair
- prepare guest checks and collect payment
- assist with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments
- perform other related duties as assigned, you may required to perform a variety or duties in multiple departments during a shift
