Weekend Bar Tender

This position is offered by an outdoor venue recognized for delivering an exciting and dynamic atmosphere for guests to enjoy a variety of beverages and entertainment. The establishment operates several bars located within covered areas but not air-conditioned, presenting an authentic outdoor experience that changes with the seasons. The role in question is that of a beverage server responsible for safely serving alcoholic drinks in compliance with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) regulations. This role does not require prior experience as comprehensive training is provided. The server supports the venue by ensuring guests receive beverages responsibly and by handling sales transactions accurately and honestly. Compensation for this role is $15 per hour, plus tips, providing a competitive hourly wage supplemented by opportunities to increase earnings through excellent customer service.

In this role, the server will be tasked with several essential functions, including verifying IDs to ensure legal alcohol consumption, monitoring guest intoxication, running the cash register with precision, and managing cash, credit card payments, and checks securely. The position also involves stocking and organizing inventory responsibly, maintaining cleanliness of the service area, and adhering to all safe food and beverage handling practices. The server will follow mandatory city, county, and state COVID-19 protocols by wearing masks and sanitizing workspaces regularly.

This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to stand for extended periods, walk long distances, and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, lifting up to 35 pounds, and reaching overhead. Communication skills are essential as the server will interact directly with customers to provide outstanding service and ensure a friendly and safe patron experience.

The server must be punctual, dependable, and willing to follow all instructions from the stand manager to maintain operational excellence.
