The role of Venue Concierge & Appointment Coordinator at Wedgewood Weddings is an exciting, fast-paced sales position designed for individuals who love weddings, enjoy engaging with people over the phone, and excel in customer service and organization. This position offers the unique opportunity to be the first point of sales contact for brides, grooms, event clients, and party planners. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and possesses superior listening skills with the ability to create warmth and connection through phone conversations. As a Venue Concierge & Appointment Coordinator, you will represent the brand positively by answering incoming calls, explaining venue locations, services, and pricing, and most importantly, generating excitement to sell personal consultations at Wedgewood Weddings locations. Your role will also involve responding promptly to inquiries, making follow-up calls, sending emails and texts, and scheduling appointments for couples to tour the beautiful venues.
This is a full-time position offering a base hourly rate of $19 plus commission, with agents typically earning between $22 and $25 an hour, and unlimited earning potential. The company also offers a "Level Up" promotion structure to encourage growth and advancement within the organization. To thrive in this role, candidates must have a high level of computer literacy, especially familiarity with Microsoft Office, with Salesforce experience considered a plus. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential, as you will be the voice and first impression of Wedgewood Weddings. This job requires the ability to multitask effectively under pressure, managing conversations with prospective clients while navigating multiple computer screens and gathering event details simultaneously. A positive attitude and adaptability to changes in workplace policies and culture are necessary traits. With mandatory weekend, early evening, and holiday availability, this role accommodates the nature of the wedding business, where client consultations often occur during non-traditional business hours.
