Job Description
Located in Chester County, Pennsylvania, our high-end wedding venue in Coatesville has built a reputation as one of the region's most distinguished event spaces, known for its white-glove service, custom design, and exceptional culinary experiences. Catering to a discerning clientele who seek luxury and elegance, our venue is the perfect setting for unforgettable celebrations that combine beauty, personalization, and seamless execution. As a cornerstone of luxury events within the Philadelphia Main Line and Brandywine Valley, we consistently attract couples whose wedding visions are grand, personal, and deeply meaningful. We partner with the finest vendors and employ a highly professional team dedicated to transforming dreams into reality while maintaining a calm and exquisite atmosphere throughout each celebration.
We are excited to invite a Lead Wedding Planner to join our esteemed team — a seasoned professional who thrives on creating "this is exactly what we dreamed of" moments. This role offers significant influence and leadership within our organization, where the planner will be the pivotal figure in crafting bespoke, elegant events that range in size from 150 to 300 guests. Budgets typically span from $75,000 to over $250,000, emphasizing the premium nature of these weddings. The ideal candidate will not only manage the intricate details of wedding planning but will also have a rich understanding of off-premise event logistics. Our venues vary from private estates and vineyards to other spectacular locations, making adaptability and innovative problem-solving essential skills.
The Lead Wedding Planner will be responsible for the entire client journey — from the moment a contract is signed to the final dance of the evening. This means being the expert guide who ensures the couple’s vision is brought to life without stress. They coordinate vendor teams from our network of top-tier florists, photographers, bands, and rental companies, negotiating contracts and ensuring every element meets our quality standards. The role demands flawless on-site execution, including overseeing rehearsals, managing wedding day timelines, and leading vendor coordination to guarantee a smooth and memorable experience.
Additionally, this planner partners closely with culinary and design teams to customize farm-to-table menu offerings and immersive tablescapes that reflect each couple’s unique story and style. Financial acumen is also vital, as the planner manages budgets, tracks incentive-based revenue goals, and identifies opportunities for upselling enhancements, which contribute to the venue’s profitability. The position offers a base salary ranging from $55,000 to $60,000 with potential earnings exceeding $80,000 through performance incentives tied to client satisfaction and revenue achievements.
The venue prides itself on providing employees with a supportive and respectful work environment including health, dental, and vision benefits; paid time off; and a schedule that offers most holidays off, allowing for balance despite the demands of peak wedding season. This is a remarkable opportunity for a wedding professional with at least three years of proven experience in managing luxury weddings who wants to elevate their career within an established and respected team. The role requires professional presence and exceptional communication skills to represent our brand to high-net-worth clientele and to comfort and lead clients and vendors alike. In short, this is a dynamic and rewarding position perfect for a passionate planner seeking growth, creative freedom, and the chance to be part of one of Chester County’s premier wedding venues.
