The Lead Wedding Coordinator position is an exciting opportunity within Leigh & Co. Events for individuals passionate about weddings and event planning. The pay rate ranges from $20 to $35 per hour, compensated per project, providing competitive earnings based on experience and performance. As a Lead Wedding Coordinator primarily serving in Washington for the 2026 season and beyond, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the flawless execution of weddings. You will act as the primary on-site planner for couples, working alongside assistant coordinators to oversee wedding day operations from setup to tear down. This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as you will coordinate with vendors, the wedding party, and family members to ensure every detail is managed with precision. Your responsibilities will include creating detailed wedding timelines, managing logistics, and providing calm, confident support to couples throughout their special day. This role offers an excellent chance to grow within the wedding industry, develop your event planning skills, and contribute to unforgettable wedding experiences.

Job Duties

  • create wedding timelines for couples
  • be an advocate for the couple, keeping them calm under pressure and assisting with any issues that arise throughout the day
  • oversee ceremony and reception set up
  • execute all day-of operations for the wedding, including being present at the venue from morning setup through tear down
  • greet and direct all vendors
  • communicate with all vendors regarding set ups
  • set up seating cards, menu cards, table numbers, favors, guest book and other decor
  • assist the wedding party and family with any needs, questions or concerns
  • ensure end of event arrangements are made for gifts, guest book, toasting flutes, etc.
