We are currently seeking a Lead Wedding Coordinator to join our team for the 2026 wedding season and beyond. This contract role offers flexible scheduling, allowing planners to choose their own hours while working on exciting wedding projects. Compensation is set at $400 per project, covering 10-12 hours of work. Leigh & Co. The Lead Wedding Coordinator will serve as the primary planner for assigned weddings, working closely with clients and our client experience managers during the planning phase, and collaborating with assistant coordinators onsite. This role demands excellent organizational abilities, strong leadership skills, and the capacity to remain calm under pressure. The Coordinator will be responsible for managing all aspects of the wedding day, from initial vendor arrivals to the final breakdown, ensuring every detail aligns with the clients' vision and our execution playbook. Duties include conducting a final detail call with clients 4-6 weeks prior to their wedding, facilitating rehearsal ceremonies, and acting as the main point of contact for vendors and wedding parties.
The ideal candidate is customer-focused, highly communicative, and detail-oriented with a minimum of two years’ experience in wedding or event planning. They must be comfortable working weekends and have reliable transportation. Additionally, the role requires physical capability to carry and lift items up to 30 pounds. Joining Leigh & Co.
