Job Description

Leigh & Co. Events is a dynamic and fast-growing wedding planning company operating throughout the United States, with a specialized focus on creating unforgettable wedding experiences for engaged couples. Known for our comprehensive wedding design, coordination, and planning services, we pride ourselves on meticulous attention to detail and personalized client service. Our company has established a strong presence nationwide by consistently delivering beautifully executed events that reflect each couple's unique vision and style. As we continue to expand our reach and clientele, we are actively seeking passionate and skilled wedding planners in Georgia to join our dedicated team.

The Lead Wedding Coordinator position at Leigh & Co. Events is an exceptional opportunity for those eager to develop their careers in the wedding planning industry. This contract role offers flexibility, allowing coordinators to set their own schedules, making it ideal for individuals who value autonomy and work-life balance. Compensation for this position is project-based, with pay ranging from $300 to $350 for approximately 10-12 hours of work per wedding, reflecting a competitive rate for the industry. Our training program supports new team members to ensure they are fully prepared to deliver outstanding client experiences.

As the Lead Wedding Coordinator, you will take charge of managing all aspects of wedding day execution primarily onsite, serving as the main point of contact between vendors, clients, and the event team. You will collaborate closely with client experience managers during the planning stages and assistant coordinators on the wedding day to ensure every detail aligns with the couple’s vision. Key responsibilities include leading final details calls about six weeks before the wedding to confirm logistics and expectations, conducting the ceremony rehearsal to guide participants through timing and processional flow, and managing ceremony and reception setup in accordance with detailed event designs and checklists.

In your role, you will be the primary advocate for the couple on their wedding day, maintaining a calm and solutions-oriented demeanor while handling any unexpected challenges. Your leadership will ensure seamless coordination from vendor arrival through event breakdown, including clear communication of setup instructions, oversight of décor placement, and assistance with personal touches such as escort cards, menus, and favors. Providing support and timing guidance to the wedding party and family members will be essential to keep all activities running smoothly.

This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong communication, and problem-solving abilities to anticipate and resolve issues promptly, ensuring a flawless experience for clients and their guests. The position demands physical stamina to handle setup tasks and the ability to work weekend shifts, which are essential in the wedding industry. Join Leigh & Co. Events to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering joy and memorable moments for couples during one of the most important days of their lives. With opportunities to work across the vibrant state of Georgia, this is your chance to elevate your wedding planning career with a respected industry leader.
