The Lead Wedding Coordinator position at Leigh & Co. Events, specifically for planners based in Nevada, presents a thrilling opportunity for individuals passionate about wedding planning. This contract role offers flexibility, allowing coordinators to choose their own schedules while working on exciting projects during the 2026 wedding season and beyond. The Lead Wedding Coordinator will act as the primary planner on the ground, responsible for managing all aspects of the wedding day. Collaboration with client experience managers and assistant coordinators is key to ensuring flawless execution of each event. Duties encompass attending final details calls approximately six weeks prior to the wedding, facilitating the rehearsal, and overseeing the complete setup and event flow at the venue. The coordinator’s role is pivotal in advocating for the couple on-site, maintaining calm and efficiency under pressure, and addressing any challenges with a solutions-oriented approach.
On the wedding day, the coordinator manages vendor arrivals, coordinates setup according to the event design, and serves as the main point of contact for all vendors. This involves clear communication about setup instructions and ensuring alignment with the event plan. Additionally, the coordinator assists in placing important event details such as escort cards, menus, and décor, and supports the wedding party with timing and logistical guidance throughout the day. The end-of-event responsibilities include ensuring all gifts and personal items are securely packed and accounted for. The Lead Wedding Coordinator plays an indispensable role in delivering a smooth, enjoyable, and memorable experience for couples and their guests, embodying the high standards and attentive care that Leigh & Co.
