The role of Director of Operations at Ferrovial Webber Energy is integral to leading and managing large-scale solar renewable construction projects from inception through to successful completion. This leadership position is based at 1725 Hughes Landing Blvd., The Woodlands, Texas, and requires active involvement in project scheduling, budgeting, resource management, and strict compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The Director of Operations will lead and mentor a team of construction managers, engineers, and other staff members, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.

This position entails conducting regular site inspections, managing project performance evaluations, and maintaining quality control to ensure high standards are upheld. The incumbent will also work closely with internal and external stakeholders including clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies, facilitating clear communication and effective problem-solving. Cost control, financial reporting, and process improvement are also key responsibilities, demanding a strategic mindset and an ability to implement best practices.

Suitable candidates will bring at least four years of construction management experience focused on renewable energy projects, particularly in solar utility-scale plants exceeding 50 MW, and must be proficient with Primavera P6 CPM scheduling software, Bluebeam Revu, MS PowerBI, and Heavy Job HCCS. The role includes approximately 20% domestic travel to project sites and corporate offices, demanding flexibility and strong organizational skills.
