Ferrovial Webber Energy, a joint venture between Ferrovial Energy Solutions and Webber, is a driving force in the clean energy transition. Specializing in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), this joint venture delivers turnkey solutions for renewable energy projects focusing on photovoltaic (PV) plants, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and wind energy installations. The role of Director of Operations at Ferrovial Webber Energy is integral to leading and managing large-scale solar renewable construction projects from inception through to successful completion. This leadership position is based at 1725 Hughes Landing Blvd., The Woodlands, Texas, and requires active involvement in project scheduling, budgeting, resource management, and strict compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The Director of Operations will lead and mentor a team of construction managers, engineers, and other staff members, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
This position entails conducting regular site inspections, managing project performance evaluations, and maintaining quality control to ensure high standards are upheld. The incumbent will also work closely with internal and external stakeholders including clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies, facilitating clear communication and effective problem-solving. Cost control, financial reporting, and process improvement are also key responsibilities, demanding a strategic mindset and an ability to implement best practices.
Suitable candidates will bring at least four years of construction management experience focused on renewable energy projects, particularly in solar utility-scale plants exceeding 50 MW, and must be proficient with Primavera P6 CPM scheduling software, Bluebeam Revu, MS PowerBI, and Heavy Job HCCS. The role includes approximately 20% domestic travel to project sites and corporate offices, demanding flexibility and strong organizational skills.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's level education or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or Telecommunications Engineering
- Minimum 4 years experience with construction management with focus on renewable energy projects with solar
- Experience operating Primavera P6 CPM scheduling software and Bluebeam Revu takeoff software
- 4 years experience operating MS PowerBI and Heavy Job HCCS
- Experience as a manager of Energy construction activities in the field, especially in Utility Scale PV Plants (>50 MW) construction in an EPC Contractor
- Willingness to travel domestically 20% to project sites, regional and corporate offices
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or Telecommunications Engineering
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in construction management focused on renewable energy projects, especially solar
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 CPM scheduling software

- Proven experience managing Energy construction activities in the field
- Strong leadership and team management skills
