Job Description
Empower is a leading financial services company dedicated to helping individuals achieve financial freedom through innovative solutions and personalized advisory services. Renowned for its flexible work environment and commitment to internal mobility, Empower fosters a culture that values purpose, well-being, and work-life balance. The company actively supports its associates in their personal and professional growth, encouraging them to take charge of their career paths within a welcoming and inclusive workplace. Empower emphasizes community engagement, with its employees dedicating thousands of hours to volunteering for causes that matter most to them. This holistic approach not only enriches the lives of their people but also strengthens the connection with the communities they serve.
The Wealth Solutions Advisor role at Empower is a fully remote position offering a competitive base salary ranging from $70,000 to $92,500 along with incentive compensation opportunities. Eligible candidates can also receive a $5,000 licensing sign-on bonus, applicable for those applying between March 25 and July 31. This position focuses on working directly with individual consumers within Empower's Investor Services segment, helping them create and implement comprehensive financial plans that consolidate assets and align with their savings goals. Rather than managing a book of business, Advisors engage customers in meaningful conversations to identify opportunities for account consolidation that support long-term financial objectives.
In this role, Advisors utilize their financial industry experience and industry-leading tools to deliver solutions that improve customers' financial outlooks. Responsibilities include educating clients on goal-based financial planning, which encompasses retirement, education, and other long-term savings strategies. Advisors employ Empower’s conversation model and digital planning tools to uncover participant needs and tailor recommendations effectively. Success is measured by the ability to consolidate external accounts, enhancing customers’ asset management under Empower’s umbrella.
Empower's culture places great importance on collaboration; thus, Advisors partner closely with relationship management and advisory teams to ensure a seamless customer experience through the onboarding and handoff processes. Consistent achievement of sales and conversation targets is essential, along with adherence to compliance requirements related to securities and insurance regulations. This comprehensive approach enables Advisors to contribute significantly to Empower's mission of transforming financial lives by providing clients the freedom to achieve their own financial goals.
