Job Description

Waltonwood is a well-established Assisted Living Community dedicated to providing a warm, safe, and enriching environment for seniors. The company prides itself on creating a compassionate atmosphere where residents receive personalized care and attention that supports their quality of life. Waltonwood's community-focused approach combines hospitality, healthcare knowledge, and administrative excellence to ensure residents feel valued and at home. It is known for fostering strong relationships between residents, families, and staff, creating a social and supportive setting that enhances residents' well-being. Waltonwood operates with a philosophy that emphasizes kindness, respect, and teamwork, making it a trusted name in assisted living services.

The Concierge position at Waltonwood offers an essential role within the community, primarily responsible for being the first and last impression residents, guests, and staff encounter. This part-time role includes working every other Saturday and Sunday with split shifts from 8am-4:30pm and 4:30pm-9pm in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As vital members of the Administrative team, Concierges provide exceptional customer service and administrative support that directly impacts the community's comfort, safety, and operational efficiency.

Concierges greet and direct residents and visitors in a welcoming and professional manner, guide telephone inquiries by properly channeling calls or providing information, and ensure safety protocols are followed to protect all community members. In addition to front desk organization and light housekeeping duties, Concierges are responsible for collecting daily resident charges, updating resident information, and assisting leadership with administrative tasks. They act as social connectors, forging meaningful bonds with residents and families and fostering a friendly community spirit.

This role demands excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and empathy, emphasizing interpersonal interactions and teamwork. Concierges at Waltonwood play a critical role in enhancing residents' daily experiences by ensuring a smooth operation of front desk activities and advocating for residents' needs in collaboration with the broader team. The company places great emphasis on punctuality, dependability, and a proactive attitude, valuing associates who contribute to a positive work environment and the community’s overall mission of providing quality assisted living.
