Known for its commitment to community, integrity, and excellence, McKibbon Hospitality embraces a culture built on guiding principles such as thinking bigger, loving your community, doing the right thing, supporting each other, and making a lasting impression. This philosophy helps attract dedicated professionals eager to contribute to an innovative and service-oriented work environment focused on hospitality and guest satisfaction. The company fosters growth opportunities and career development through training programs, workshops, and other initiatives, making it an ideal workplace for individuals passionate about building rewarding careers in the hospitality industry.

The Host/Hostess role at McKibbon Hospitality is a vital frontline position responsible for creating the first positive impression for guests upon their arrival. This position requires a friendly, proactive individual who excels at greeting guests warmly and providing exceptional service throughout their visit. In addition to welcoming guests, the Host/Hostess ensures that the restaurant maintains a clean, safe, and inviting atmosphere. This includes assisting with side duties such as preparing guest supplies for service, cleaning workspaces and floors, managing waste removal, and occasionally handling Point-of-Sale (POS) system transactions using platforms like Toast.

Beyond these operational duties, the Host/Hostess also embodies the McKibbon Guiding Principles by actively contributing to a supportive, community-centered work culture. The ability to communicate effectively and maintain high sanitation standards while promoting guest satisfaction is essential. The position offers valuable experience for individuals looking to advance in the hospitality sector, especially those with previous experience in restaurants or hotels. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, guest interaction, and attention to detail to ensure a seamless dining experience.

McKibbon Hospitality values its team members equally and offers comprehensive benefits to promote employee wellness both personally and professionally. Full-time associates receive medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, pet insurance, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, holidays, and tuition assistance. Moreover, all employees benefit from competitive compensation with incentives, a 401K savings plan with matching contributions, associate referral programs, and continuous training opportunities for career advancement. Personal wellness is also supported through fundraising matching programs, team volunteer options, 24/7 chaplain services, and exclusive hotel rate discounts.

Working as a Host/Hostess at McKibbon Hospitality means being part of a community that values safety, integrity, and guest satisfaction while encouraging growth and enjoyment in the workplace. This role is ideal for those seeking to build a career in customer service within a respected hospitality company that prioritizes its employees' experiences just as much as those of its guests.
