Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Preparing ingredients including washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients according to recipes and chefs' instructions
  • Executing cooking and plating recipes under the supervision of senior cooks, ensuring consistency with restaurant standards and presentation guidelines
  • Maintaining workstation: Keep your workstation clean, organized, and stocked throughout service adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Station set up: Contribute to daily mise en place by preparing sauces, dressings, and other ingredients essential for the menu
  • Learning and improving skills: Continuously develop your cooking techniques and knowledge of fine dining cuisine by observing and working with senior cooks
  • Ensuring food safety: Follow all food handling, sanitation, storage and rotation protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen
  • Handling equipment: Operate and maintain kitchen equipment properly, including knives, ovens, blender, and other tools to ensure efficiency and safety
