The Water Park Attendant role at Level5 Hospitality is a crucial position responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all guests using the water park facilities. This part-time position offers the opportunity for full-time hours to candidates willing to expand their skills through cross-department training. The role demands weekend availability and focuses on maintaining the highest safety standards across pools, hot tubs, slides, attractions, and other interactive features. Beyond safety, the attendant also contributes to the cleanliness, organization, and smooth operation of the water park, engaging positively with guests and promptly managing any issues or emergencies that arise. This position combines guest service excellence with vigilant safety monitoring, which is essential for delivering the outstanding Level5 Hospitality guest experience.

In this role, attendants will be executing daily startup and closure procedures, supporting emergency response protocols, and collaborating closely with other hotel personnel. They act as frontline representatives in guest interactions around the water park area, providing assistance and ensuring any guest concerns are swiftly and effectively addressed. The position also involves reporting maintenance needs and incidents to management to uphold the highest operational standards. Physical fitness and the ability to handle routine, repetitive tasks with attention to detail and professionalism are key attributes needed.

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift
  • Must be able to access and navigate the facility
  • Employees are required to adhere to safety requirements by wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Work is routine and repetitive in nature and may require strenuous physical exertion at times, including the ability to move objects weighing up to 75lbs
  • Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed

Job Qualifications

  • Maintain a current CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate emergency responses with hotel staff and guests
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with the water park and other resort facilities
  • Must maintain high standards in grooming and professional appearance
  • Detail-oriented and thorough
  • Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of guests
  • Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standards
  • Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant, friendly way

Job Duties

  • Prioritize the safety and well-being of all hotel water park guests
  • Maintain the operational effectiveness of water park facilities and promptly report any maintenance issues to the Hotel General Manager
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of pool areas and corridors to include removing trash, wiping down shelves/counters
  • sweeping, mopping and/or vacuuming floors
  • and removing non-pool related items and storing in appropriate areas
  • Provide assistance to guests with attractions and immediately report any inquiries they may have
  • Execute daily startup and closure procedures for water park attractions
  • Support emergency response plans as directed by the Hotel General Manager
  • Address and resolve guest complaints and issues effectively
  • Participate in regular meetings with other hotel personnel
  • Report all incidents and accidents to the on-duty Manager
  • Deliver lost and found items according to established procedures
  • May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
