The position is hourly paid at $17.05 and requires performing duties that ensure the accurate and safe handling of merchandise as it moves into and out of the laundry facility. Responsibilities include operating industrial washers and dryers, conducting safety inspections on machinery before each use, loading and unloading uniform batches carefully to maintain product quality, and recording relevant production data using systems such as SOFTROL. Attention to detail is critical when verifying batch tickets, moisture levels on garments, and ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are maintained throughout the process.

This position demands a physically active role as it involves handling heavy slings or carriers weighing up to 220 lbs, lifting and moving loads up to 50 lbs, and standing or walking for extended periods. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions, have basic math skills, and exhibit strong communication capabilities to work independently or as part of a team. The environment is warehouse-based, often subject to varying weather conditions, noise, and requires shift flexibility including weekends and overtime when needed.
