Currently, TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Warehouse/Driver I - Modernization to join its Nashville, TN team. This role is pivotal in maintaining and delivering parts, supplies, and equipment to various job sites efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively. The Warehouse/Driver will operate company vehicles such as vans, trucks, stake-body trucks, and pickups to ensure materials reach their destinations on time and in good condition. Responsibilities also encompass logistical support within the warehouse, including loading and unloading materials, operating forklifts for heavy loads, and physically handling materials up to 50 pounds.

Additionally, the role includes managing inventory within the warehouse, particularly special tools and equipment, and performing shipping and receiving duties to support operational workflows. Keeping the warehouse and surrounding grounds well-maintained is an essential aspect of this position as is coordinating the upkeep and servicing of company vehicles to ensure continuous operational readiness.   • Motor vehicle license in good standing

Job Duties

  • Operates company vehicles including vans, trucks, stake body trucks, and pick-up trucks to make deliveries and pickups
  • Assists in the loading, unloading and moving of materials and supplies within the warehouse area
  • Operates a forklift to move heavy materials and physically lifts materials up to 50 pounds
  • Unloads equipment, parts and supplies at job sites and ensures crews are supplied with necessary materials
  • Maintains inventory of warehouse storage areas including special tools
  • Performs shipping and receiving functions as assigned
  • Maintains upkeep of the warehouse and grounds
  • Arranges for upkeep and servicing of company vehicles
