Within the Business Services Division, the Fiscal Services Department is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the full-time position of Warehouse Worker / Driver at the District Warehouse. This role is integral to the logistics and supply chain operations of the district, encompassing responsibilities such as the receipt, inspection, verification, storage, processing, and distribution of a broad array of supplies, materials, and equipment essential to district functions. The Warehouse Worker / Driver will be responsible for safely operating district vehicles to deliver goods to various locations within the district efficiently and punctually. Employment is offered on a full-time basis, working 8 hours per day, 12 months per year. The position offers an hourly salary range between $27.17 and $32.91, which reflects competitive compensation aligned with the required skills and experience.
This position requires possession of a valid California driver's license, with a copy to be submitted upon application. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- one year of warehouse, delivery, or related experience
- valid California driver's license
- forklift certification within first three months of probationary period
- physical ability to perform material handling tasks
- able to pass a tuberculosis risk assessment and job-related physical examination
- successful completion of fingerprinting
- provide a current DMV report and/or proof of auto insurance
- submit a copy of valid California driver's license with application
